A BRIEF HISTORY OF CHEVROLET

The complicated situation ended with Durant back as the head of GM, Chevrolet part of General Motors, and Louis Chevrolet dead of a heart attack in 1941.
At GM, Durant was again replaced, this time by Alfred Sloan, and it was Sloan who chose Chevrolet to be the mass-market family brand of the corporation.
